Dr. Farnaz Amoozegar obtained her medical degree and neurology specialist degree from the University of Alberta. Her research interests include new therapeutics and optimization of existing therapies in migraine patients, as well as advancements in rarer forms of headache, such as spontaneous intracranial hypotension. She has particular interest in the association between depression and headache.
